Transcender

Jakob la Cour Studio was in a 4-day residency at the iconic stage Basement in Copenhagen, and did a mystical inquiry into the nature of tech-amplified transcendence to recreate connection with the self, each other, and the world.

The residency delved into the intersection between participatory performing arts, interactive technology, and contemporary mysticism to uncover and do nonverbal speculation on the harmonious and complex layers within our increasingly mediated existence.

The collaborative residency with performing artist and mystic Jakob la Cour, and visionary creatives Markus Trige Frandsen and Alexander Rulkens, explored interactive technologies, ethereal soundscapes, and illuminating art.
